CD 445 - Clean and Simple Friendship Card

Welcome to Colour Dare Challenge 445!

This week, we have a grid for you but it's a little different. You need to to choose 4 blocks - they don't need to be in a line. Please note that black and white are free - other neutrals must come from the colours on the grid.

I don't make clean and simple cards very often and I really admire those who can create in that style.

I began with a stencil and masked off the right side of the card. The stencil was inked using three Distress Oxide inks. The other side was splattered using three coordinating shimmer brushes. Anyone who knows me knows that splattering anything creates a HUGE mess for me - the splatter ends up on everything near my project as well as way up my arms. Once the shimmer brush splatters were dry, I added the sentiment and a few enamel gems in the same colours as the stencilled petals.

Come and join us at Colour Dare and show us how you interpret the grid shown above.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Products used are Close To My Heart unless otherwise indicated:

Alyson

  2. Love this Alyson! You might not make CAS cards often but when you do, you nail it! I love how you matched the enamel dots to the colours you had stencilled. X
