"I Did It" Layout (Reaching my Goal!)

This layout has a very special meaning for me. I have been working at losing weight since last August and I am SO VERY CLOSE to my final goal but I have finally crossed the big marker. I have now lost 80 pounds in total. I began at 230 pounds and am down to 150. My ultimate goal is 145 - hopefully before Convention - but those last 5 pounds are proving extremely difficult to lose. I am walking 90 minutes every morning (usually from 6:15am to 7:45 or so).
I am feeling terrific. My husband, since he sees me every day, couldn't believe the difference when he saw the "before" photo! He says he doesn't see the change so much because he sees me day in and day out. It wasn't until he compared the two photos that he really saw the difference.
There is a photo under the layout with details of one of the clusters. As usual, I relied on my favourite colour, lagoon. The photo was actually taken with me in a lagoon coloured shirt, but my printer insisted in printing it in more of a bluish tone, so I decided to turn it to black and white instead.

Various Dotty for You Cards

As this awesome Dotty for You campaign is coming to a close, I still cannot get enough of this paper, particularly the Lagoon patterns! I have SO many packs of it that I will be using it for many weeks (and probably years) to come!

The cards below are the ones I have chosen to put into the bag I will use as my carry-on when I go to Convention. I was lucky enough to snag one of those awesome clear pocket bags that CTMH was selling off a few years ago and I use mine all the time!

The cards are all standard size and use only CTMH products. Details are listed below the cards.

Goodbye Card - H2H and Mojo Monday Challenges

This card was created as a farewell for our departing minister and his wife. He is finishing his term at our church at the end of next month and is retiring. It will be very difficult to see both of them leave as they have been wonderful leaders of our congregation.
The Heart 2 Heart Challenge required distressing this week. I used ink distressing on every piece of the card although the yellow pieces can be difficult to see as I distressed them in the same colours as the cardstock or the patterned paper.
Mojo Monday is always a sketch and that is shown below the card.

Papers: Dotty for You Paper Pack, Lagoon Cardstock, Buttercup Cardstock
Stamps: For Every Occasion (ret.), Dreams Come True (ret.)

H2H Challenge - Friendship Card

This weeks' challenge at Heart 2 Heart is to use dotted paper and then to add stripes to the mix (can you say "Dotty for You" Paper Pack??) That's exactly what I used! I am on my third pack of this paper and I can't get enough of it.
This is the first time I have used the felt alphabets and I love them!
I did stamp on the inside of the card but the photograph didn't turn out very well... so that's why you don't see any stamping (but I did do some - I really did!)

Supplies used are all CTMH

Paper: Dotty for You Paper Pack, Smoothie Cardstock, Buttercup Cardstock, Sweet Leaf Cardstock
Stamps: Beautiful Friendship (inside)
Inks: Olive Marker, Pear (inside), Hollyhock (inside), Buttercup (inside)

Birthday Cards with Dotty for You

I have some birthdays coming up in June and I want to make sure I have cards ready and those dates don't sneak up on me...
These two cards are identical except for the colours. I wanted to see what they would look like with the different colour schemes. Personally, the Lagoon is my favourite, but that's my favourite colour in the CTMH palette, so I am a little biased.

I will be visiting my mom this weekend.
Happy Mother's Day to everyone :)
