Blue Panel Card

I have made this type of card before - the easiest way to describe it is to call it a panel card.

A friend of mine hosts a 30 minute card making stash and dash once a week - the goal is to create a card within 30 minutes. I haven't met that deadline yet (the time IS flexible) but this past week, I took well over an hour to create the card below.

The parameters were as follows: 1. accordion card, 2. monochromatic, 3. inking and 4. crafter's choice for embellishments.

I chose to use some alcohol inked patterned paper in shades of blue. I inked a piece of white cardstock using shades of blue and splattered it with water. Those pieces were cut for the inside small sections. I die cut leaves from vellum and added them to the inside panels as well as to the front. The sentiments were die cut from the inked piece and adhered to white shadows. I added a few silver gems and there is a white panel on the back to write a message.

Enjoy,

Alyson
