TSOT 586 - Coneflower in Orange

Welcome to Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge 586!

The optional theme (in addition the sketch) is plaid.

I started by creating a blue ombre background with Distress Oxide inks and I splattered that with water. The white plaid background is a diamond die that I cut twice and offset just enough to create a plaid appearance - that was trimmed and adhered to a stitched rectangle. The flower and leaf pieces were inked with gradient shades of orange and green and then assembled. With the flower at the top, it left room for a sentiment at the bottom - that was embossed and adhered with thin foam tape. Some clear dew drops were added around the card.

Come and join us at TSOT and show us how you interpret the sketch shown above.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson
