DT 131 and TSOT 593 - Butterfly Love

Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 131!

The small graphic is below - please visit the Double Trouble website for detailed information.

We are pairing with Try Stampin' on Tuesday for this challenge. Their challenge goes up tomorrow (Tuesday) if you plan to use the sketch as part of your project. It is TSOT's 12th anniversary on February 7, so we thought we would celebrate by giving away some small gifts to two of our wonderful followers to be selected in a random draw. Please share your creativity for chances to win in Challenge 593 before it closes on Feb. 15.

I chose to use butterflies for the Thing 1 element on my card. I ink blended a background using the same shades as the cardstock and die cut the detailed butterflies from that piece. They were adhered to a coordinating piece of glitter paper. The left side piece was hot foiled with a turquoise foil and coloured with markers. I ink blended some purple ink around the main panel as well. The last step was to add enamel gems to the bodies of the butterflies.

Come and join us at Double Trouble and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

I am also linking my card with Try Stampin' on Tuesday - I am on the design team for that challenge.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson
