Dragonfly Dreams - Suspended Heart Card

 Welcome to Dragonfly Dreams' February challenge! This is a new design team for me and I look forward to their challenges. 

The theme for the month of February is love.

I created a different card for this challenge and then decided to o something else... the original card is shown further down the post. 

I stamped and coloured a heart image and then fussy cut that piece with another pieces of white cardstock underneath. The second piece hides the ink on the backside of the image. The front was embossed and I cut the front of the card on a diagonal. The lower piece (along with the border and embossed front) were added back to the bottom of the card. The sentiment was placed in the corner and I added some silver metallic thread underneath. A few tiny gems were coloured and placed around the heart. 

This was my original card... I created a heart shaker card using shades of pink and blue. The sentiment was stamped inside the large heart and the shaker was filled with tiny die cut hearts and bright pink sequins. I die cut some additional hearts and created a border along the bottom and a cluster of hearts at the top. A few sequins were added and I adhered the front panel to pink cardstock and finally to a dark blue card base.
