Anyone who knows me well knows that watercolouring terrifies me! I have never had success with that medium - but I wanted to try a different idea.
I created simple stripes across both of these backgrounds by making sure the paper was wet and choosing rainbow colours to add one after the next. Once they were dry, they looked like sunset and lake scenes to me. I chose silhouette images for each and embossed them in black. Mats were added behind each card front but no embellishments were used - clean and simple!
