Double Trouble 96 - Tall Jolly Characters

Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 96!

This week, tall is the theme - tall cards (slimline cards) are the focus. The small graphic is below - please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for complete information.

I created a tree using various holiday images by stamping them in a tree format. I chose the images and lined them up in my stamp platform, making it easy to stamp them all at once. I had to go back and add a few of the images that I didn't want stamped in black ink. The images were coloured and a sentiment was gold embossed and die cut. I die cut the stitched rectangle before adhering a green background. Once everything was together, the "tree" wasn't as visible as I expected it to be - so I drew a freehand tree around the images and stamped a star at the top.

Come and join us at Double Trouble and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

I am also linking up my card with Ellibelle's Crafty Challenge where the use of a die is required.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Hello, Alyson! This is so cool! I love all of the Christmas icons! I see some of my favourites - gingerbread, elves, reindeer, and snowman! Such an awesome idea - I have a lot of little stamps that would be perfect for this design! I hope you can inspire me to make a slimline card - for some reason I keep avoiding them - I've only ever made one.
