Arctic Bears Cards

There is a a neat stamp and die set from Stampin' Up called Arctic Bears. I love polar bears so I really wanted to do something with these images.

The first card is a simple Z fold card. I used some retired SU paper that has beautiful winter scenes on it. The sentiment was stamped and embossed and added to an outline piece. The placement of that piece determined where the mama and baby bears would be placed inside. I added some snowflakes to the edges of the sentiment and there is a panel on the back to write a message. This card was inspired by Bronwyn Eastley

The second card is a very simple scene with a bold sentiment. The ice background was stamped in two parts and cut to fit the lower part of the card. The bear was also stamped and die cut. The background and the bear were adhered to a piece of snowflake patterned paper. The sentiment was die cut three times and stacked. Easy!

Products used are as follows:

Paper: Feels Like Frost Paper Pack, Night of Navy Cardstock (SU), Holiday Stack, White Daisy Cardstock, Lagoon Cardstock, Pewter Cardstock , White Glitter Paper (CTMH), Neenah Solar White Cardstock

Stamps: Arctic Bears and dies (SU), Animated Holidays (CTMH)

Inks: Pewter, Pebble, Sapphire Pigment Ink (CTMH)

Accessories: Winter Flurries Thin Cuts, Snowflake Thin Cuts, Stitched Fancy Bracket Thin Cuts, Tri-Blend Markers, Clear Sparkles, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool (CTMH), Peace Love Hope Joy Die (SSS)

Enjoy,

Alyson
