Double Trouble 113 and TSOT 559 - Moose in Plaid

Welcome to two challenges - Double Trouble 113 and Try Stampin' on Tuesday 559!

Since I am on the design team for both of these challenges, this is a single post as Double Trouble is pairing with TSOT for this challenge.

The small graphic for Double Trouble is below, along with the sketch for TSOT. Please visit the websites for detailed information.

My card has all the elements for the Double Trouble challenge - masculine and plaid (x2) - plus it is linked with the TSOT challenge as a design team member. I used a Kraft card base and added a blue plaid background and a blue/green plaid cross piece. The image was stamped and coloured and I die cut that along with a green border. That same green was used as the side piece and glitter paper in the same colour was used to outline the plaid cross piece. The sentiment was stamped right on the patterned paper and I added two white hearts at the top.

Come and join us at Double Trouble and TSOT and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

We can’t wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson

  1. Great choices in the two checkered design papers and love the substitute of the oval for your image... you seem quite comfortable in masculine cards.

  3. Very nice masculine card (maybe up North it's for either gender, but down here that's a good card for a hunter). XOX

  5. Great masculine card, Alyson! You also did a wonderful job coloring the moose... lots of nice shading! I like the two different plaids you chose so that they go together, yet are different in color and angle! Great inspiration job!!! -Donna

  6. All the elements on your card pair so well, the blue, green and kraft are a very eye catching palette for your masculine design.
