CD 613 - Inlaid Heart Card

Welcome to Colour Dare Challenge 613!

Shades of red, yellow and blue must be used. Please see the graphic below for the details.

I die cut the heart image 6x - in white, red, yellow, gold and two shades of blue. I inlaid each of the pieces back into the white heart, including those tiny gold circles. That was placed on a red hot foiled background that was done on vellum and attached to white cardstock. I added a black border before adhering everything to the white card base. A gold foiled sentiment was placed at the bottom and I brushed the yellow flowers with a shimmer brush. Light blue Stickles were added to the flower centres.

Come and join us at Colour Dare and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson

So sweet, Alyson! You have combined the challenge colors beautifully and I especially like the Folkart style.

Stunning card! I am not sure I would have had the patience to paper piece all those pieces but the effect is fantastic.

You usually create your cards pretty fast, but this one I'm sure with all that piecing it took a bit longer... beautifully done and worth the time for sure.
