Christmas in Purple and Green

Welcome to this week's Colour Dare challenge!

It's another Tic-Tac-Toe board. This one uses many of the colours from the Every Little Thing paper pack, which is one of my favourite sets of papers in a long time!

I used the two diagonal grids: Wisteria, Silver and Evergreen plus Mint, Silver and Julep

I coloured in the open sections on the floral paper in the same style as what is already done - kind of a messy, watercolour appearance. That is really tough for me as I always colour exactly within the lines...

Using the Multi Square Window Thin Cut, I cut out the centre section of that die, placed some white cardstock behind and stamped the images I wanted. They were coloured using the same colour scheme as the background paper. A large die with the word Holiday was cut and placed across the images. The word Wishes is on a small banner in the bottom corner. I used the Mint Shimmer Brush on the large word and a close-up of that can be seen below. A few gems and some embellishing thread finished off the card.

Come and join us at Colour Dare and show us how you use the grid shown above.
You have two weeks to link up your project.
We can’t wait to see what you create!

Products used are Close To My Heart unless otherwise indicated:

Paper: Every Little Thing Paper Pack, Evergreen Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Mint Cardstock, Neenah Solar White Cardstock
Stamps: A Dash of Joy, Birthday Joy, Merry Christmas to All (misc.)
Inks: Evergreen, Intense Black
Accessories: Silver Embellishing Thread, Silver Glitter Gems, Multi Square Window Thin Cut, Tri-Blend Markers, Touch Markers, Mint Shimmer Brush, Merry Christmas to All Dies (misc.)

Enjoy,
Alyson
