October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month blog hop!

The October Stamp of the Month - Autumn Air - is a perfect stamp set for the autumn season... open and closed leaf images and terrific sentiments that work for both cards and scrapbooking!

You should have arrived here from Miss Carrie's Creations

This is a circular blog hop so following the links will get you back to where you began.
If you get lost, a list of all participants can be found here

I chose to use one of the large sentiments and all of the open leaves to create my card. I stamped the leaves using three different ink colours and then coloured them using the new Tri-Blend markers. They were all fussy cut after they were coloured. I also used the border stamp to create a border for the bottom of my card. It is really easy to line-up to extend it if need be (I had to do that).

The Flower Market Cricut cartridge provided the wreath and the additional branches that I needed. The assembly went very quickly - it was just layering the leaves and adding some Gold Embellishing Thread and ribbon to complete the card. I brushed the leaf veins with the Gold Shimmer Brush to add some interest.

I hope you enjoyed my project.
The next blog on the hop is Terry Metzger's blog.
I am sure she has something awesome to share with you!
