I found this card style on YouTube - it's called a half star illusion card since the front looks kind of like a star and the ribbon border appears to have been thread around the star.
I chose patterned papers from Graphic 45 for my card. I used a sheer ribbon across the centre and I pulled the holly, berries and branch images from the patterned papers for the additional elements. They were adhered on acetate so they appear to be floating above and below the centre section. This card folds flat to 5x7 for mailing and there is a panel on the back to write a message.
