Little Mouse Book Binding Card

Craft Roulette last Friday offered some challenging parameters on the spinning wheel... these were the requirements: 

- book binding card, blue + purple + silver + one colour of choice, rodent and vertical stripes

I decided to pull out some reward stamps from CTMH that I have had for a while - there is a collection of several little mouse stamps and they were perfect for this challenge. 

This is a standard size card except the "binding" at the side makes the working area a square shape. I cut several stitched scalloped circles in different colours (I used pink as my extra colour). The circles were arranged in the various colours and the mouse image was stamped on white in the centre. That image was coloured and a sentiment was added at the bottom. I cut some thin cardstock strips to add to the left side (vertical stripes) and also added some twine around the binding section. 

The inside was stamped with some hearts and coloured in the same colour scheme as the front.

Paper: Cardstock - White Daisy, Pansy, Carolina, Ballerina, Silver Foil Paper (CTMH)

Stamps: Little Mouse Wishes, Little Love Mouse, For Your Heart, To My Bestie (CTMH)

Inks: Intense Black (Hero Arts)

Accessories: Stitched Scalloped Circles (Pink Fresh Studio), White Twine, Pink Twine (misc.), Silver Glitter Gems (CTMH), Silver and Pink Metallic Thread, Markers, Black Fine Tip Marker
