Graduation Book Card

A friend asked me to create a card for her granddaughter's graduation from university. We discussed various options and she really liked the Every Little Thing paper pack so the card was built around those patterns and colours. 

The base is Evergreen cardstock and I used Wisteria, Julep and White as the other colours. I needed more room than a standard card as she really wanted the "You Are... sentiment plus the parts of that to go with it. The card opens like a book and there is a place to write a message on the back. Some of the images were outlined or coloured with the Black and Clear Shimmer Brushes and I also created a coordinating envelope to hold the card. This was fun to create - involved a fair amount of carefully positioned stamping and colouring.
