This week, I stayed pretty true to the sketch.
The background was inked with three Distess Oxide inks through a stencil and then inked again in black. Once the ink was dry, the stencil was applied over top of the images again and it was brushed with Asteroid Stickles Glitter Gel. That took a full day to dry. That background piece was mounted on the front of the card with a stitched rectangle die cut on top.
The tags were die cut and I stamped the sentiment along with some stars in black. The stars were coloured and three pieces of Shimmer Trim were added at the bottom of the tag. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut some flowers and leaves and added them at the bottom. Sections of the flowers were brushed with the Clear Shimmer Brush. A silver ribbon was added to the top of the tags. I decided to forgo the embellishment dots shown in the sketch as the background pattern is very busy already.
