Congratulations Fancy Fold

I was asked by a friend to create a congratulations card ... it's for her grandson for his Confirmation so I chose a blue colour scheme. 

When the card is closed, it looks like a basic card. The centre square is actually attached on the inside of the card to fold back over to the front. There is lots of room to write a message. I used three shades of blue - Sapphire, Bluebird and Carolina. The patterned papers also contain those colours. The dove was embossed in white and the sentiment was embossed in Sapphire. I stamped the background with a leaf stamp to add a little more interest and all the edges were ink distressed.
