Welcome to the February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
This month, the featured stamp set is Doodled Borders. It's an interesting set of stamps with lots of small borders, tiny images and background stamps.
You should have arrived here from Kathy Burrows' blog. If you get lost along the way, a list of all participants can be found on Melinda Everitt's blog.
I die cut the Multi-Square Window from Raspberry cardstock and then cut several squares in Lagoon and Peacock, using the light side of the cardstock. I used a variety of stamps from the set to stamp a background on each of the little squares and every one is different. I wanted some cohesiveness so I did all the stamping in black. Those squares were attached to the back of the die cut and that was mounted on Peacock and then Lagoon.
The sentiment was stamped in Peacock on Lagoon cardstock and then die cut. It was mounted on a Raspberry bracket and attached to the card front with thin foam tape.
The next visit on this hop is Krista Hershberger's blog. I am certain she will show you something very interesting using this stamp set!

Oh wow! Great use of the images behind the window! Great texture!
This is such a great idea! Love it.
I LOVED how you stamped all in black and designed the card using just the 3 colors of cardstock...striking!...then I moved down to see your 2nd card and found I also LOVED the pop of orange color brought into it...both cards are very striking!
WOW, what a cool design. I have to say the top one's colour scheme is my fav. I love this idea. Thanks for sharing these cards.
What a great idea! I also like the way you photographed the thin cuts you used along with your project.
I LOVE how you used this stamp!
Wow! What a cool idea. Will need to copy your idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
ooo...so fun Alyson and what a great idea!! I don't use my multi-square stitched frame enough...and this was a perfect way to use it. AND...you used so many of the stamp images too!! love it!
These are so bright and cheerful! Great job.
What a fun way to use this set!! I actually like the second card better because of all the color, but I can see how it might have been a little overwhelming to the senses if it's not your usual style. Good for you for breaking out of your comfort zone!
Fabulous cards! I love the bold images and colors.
How clever! I love how you highlighted all the different patterns in the windows.
Super fun card! Love the idea of stamping the variety of patterns for the windows! So clever!
