TSOT 541 - Smiling Because of You

Welcome to Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge 451!

The optional theme this week (in addition to the sketch) is to use red, pink and gold.

I used both the sketch and the optional colour scheme for my card. Red and pink are hard to use together, depending on the shade of each. I chose a very light pink paper to place beside the red patterned paper.

The circle image was die cut from gold foil and three colours of cardstock. The cardstock pieces were inlaid within the gold background. The pink and red background was die cut using a stitched rectangle die and I also die cut a stitched gold foil border. That was all adhered to the card base with the circle in the center. A small scalloped circle was die cut and placed in the center of the gold circle. The sentiment was stamped and placed across the centre of the circle as well. The last step was to colour some clear sparkles and add them around the card.

Come and join us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday and show us how you interpret the sketch shown above.

You have two weeks to link up your project.
