Triple Hippos

I just adore these hippos from a La La Land stamp that was part of Stamptember at Simon Says Stamp. They are so cute. 

This card was inspired by one of the cards posted on the SSS blog when this set was released and the artist was Suzy Plantanura (I'm not sure if that spelling is correct as it was taken from her blog signature). 

The three hippos were stamped, coloured and die cut. I created a background simply with markers and distress oxide inks - just enough to add some colour. The hippos and the sentiment were added to the front panel and that was adhered to red cardstock and then a black base.

Inks: Intense Black (SSS), DO Inks - Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean 

Accessories: Stitched Slimline Dies, Slimline Dies (Pink and Main), Tri-Blend Markers, Copic Markers, Touch Markers
