Jan SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to a new year, a brand new Seasonal Expressions catalog and January's Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! This month, we are featuring the stamp set "Bloom & Grow" - a set of 15 stamps. There is a terrific frame in which all of the sentiments fit and several tiny stamps that can be used to embellish the sentiments or for other purposes as well. The bloggers along this blog hop will certainly show you many ways to use this stamp set, so sit back and enjoy the tour.

You should have arrived here from Gina Brandstetter's blog.

If you get lost, a list of all blogs can be found on Melinda Everitt's blog

The stamp set looks like this.

This stamp set lends itself perfectly to the Chelsea Gardens paper pack BUT I figured most people would use those papers and I wanted to do something different.
I chose to use the Make Waves paper pack instead. I chose one of the PML cards - just a pink flower card - and cut it so it would create a fold back. I mounted that on White Daisy cardstock and stamped the sentiment in the open space and then mounted the whole thing on one of the ombre sheets of paper from the paper pack.
My card design is taken from the new Make It From Your Heart - Volume 4. It is pattern 24 but I had to create a 5x7 card to accommodate the PML card size.

I hope you enjoyed my project.

The next blog on this hop is Michelle Loncar's blog

I am sure she has something wonderful to share with you.
