Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 197!
The small graphic is below - please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for detailed information.
I chose to use pink, fuchsia and green for my card. The image was stamped in black on a stitched rectangle die cut. I stamped it a second time on scrap cardstock and stencilled the area I wanted to use for the spotlight. That was cut with a circle die and placed on top of the black image. The sentiment was stamped, die cut and stacked three times to add dimension. I also added bright pink thread under the sentiment. The card front was adhered to a black mat, a green mat and finally a fuchsia card base. Liquid Pearls were used to add a few black dots around the sentiment.

That's gorgeous, your bold colors look beautiful with the coordinating layers and matching fuchsia thread!
ReplyDeleteLoving the way you placed your spotlight, a touch of each flower... and again your use thread is perfect... so pretty.
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job on the spotlight area. We can see the circle but the flowers truly stand out. Wow.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS! I haven't done this spotlight technique in years and you've certainly inspired me to give it a go again! Beautifully done! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Triple B challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

This is soooo pretty!! I love the vivid colors, the layers, the thread...all of it! Gorgeous spotlighting effect, it almost looks 3D.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you chose your spotlight location. The partial color on the flower is so pretty.
