Welcome to Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge 676!
I chose a Christmas theme for my card. The background was die cut using a scalloped edge die but I decided to place the inner piece back inside. That was also splattered with white paint. All the floral elements were die cut and arranged slightly off centre as per the sketch. The sentiment was die cut and stacked three times - except I used white cardstock for the back layers. The white ended up showing so I used a red Copic marker to outline all around the letters. The front was adhered to red patterned paper and then to a white card base.
Come and join us at TSOT and show us how you interpret this sketch.
You have two weeks to link up your project.
We can't wait to see what you create!
Enjoy,
Alyson

Beautiful Christmas card, love the floral against the woodgrain background... striking.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty, Alyson! I especially like that you varied the colors of the green elements. The bright white flower is perfect against the darker background.
