Ink smooshing is fun but it can be unpredictable. Perhaps that is what makes it a fun and unusual technique.
For these two cards, I used Catherine Pooler inks. The background for the first card was done using a large acrylic block. The ink was pushed onto a glass mat and water was added. I picked up the colour using a large block and pressed it onto white cardstock. The edges of the block were visible so I trimmed the card front down to remove those lines and added a die cut sentiment. Clear gems were placed around the card.
The second card was also ink smooshed but I used smaller blocks and created a random pattern while covering the full card front. That piece was trimmed down and a birthday sentiment was added.
Enjoy,
Alyson
The ink smooshing technique used on your cards adds a beautifully organic and unique touch to each design. The combination of vibrant colors and creative patterns is truly captivating and highlights your artistic talent.
