I was asked to make a special birthday card - a masculine one. I struggle so much with masculine cards...
I used a card design that I really like and the fold plus the papers really do all the work. I chose a mixed colour squared block patterned paper along with a denim blue pattern. The sentiment was die cut from a rainbow inked panel and adhered across the blocks. I decided to add some coloured balloons to the left side. No embellishments were used to keep the card flat for mailing. There is a panel on the back to write a message.

Alyson, I think the choices you made were all perfect! Bright rainbows colors, dimensional interactivity and a simple direct sentiment - what guy is not gonna think it's a cool card (as opposed to a "boring" one)? The balloons, too, mixing the outlined ones with the solid ones. But I bet that fold will be the favorite! And you do those sooooo well - fab work! XOX
