Welcome to Cut It Up Challenge 324!
The theme for this challenge is "tie it up". You must use ribbon, twine or string.
I chose to use ribbon. I picked four colours of ribbon and created a circle iris with those colours. Black glitter paper was used for the centre of the iris, the circle frame and the card background. I splattered the card front with two shades of colour (shimmer brushes) before assembling the card. I added a piece of turquoise ribbon across the bottom and placed a hot foiled sentiment on top.
Come and join us at Cut It Up and show us how you interpret this challenge.
You have until Monday, March 3 to link up your project.
We can't wait to see what you create!
Enjoy,
Alyson

Wow, nice card; lots of great detail and the iris folding technique was a perfect choice for this challenge!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, I used to make this with paper scraps. The cards always look way more involved than they really are!

So pretty!! You don't see iris cards very much anymore, and I've never seen one done with ribbon!! Your colors are so rich and beautiful!
