Several Close To My Heart Consultants are featuring new products available in the May/June Idea Book.
This is a circular blog hop. You should have arrived here from Michelle Stewart's blog.
If you get lost, a list of all participants can be found on Melinda Everitt's blog.
The new idea book has so many terrific stamps, thin cuts and papers available. I chose to use one of the new stamps and focus entirely on that for my card.
That stamp set is called A Million Little Things. It has three gorgeous floral images and some fantastic sentiments. I stamped one of the floral images along the edges of my card using Versamark ink. I embossed those images with Clear Detail Embossing Powder and then used three ink colours (Sage, Peacock and Sapphire) to sponge on top of them, bringing out the images.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed in white. I mounted the sentiment and rectangle frame on foam tape and also cut a large frame from Sage cardstock for the outer edge of the card. The acetate was cut very carefully to allow the sentiment piece to sit inside and at the same time contain the shaker components. I added some silver sequins and confetti stars to the inside of the shaker. I love how they move around the sentiment! Although the i's in the word "friendship" are there, I decided to add a silver glitter gem for each of the i's.
I hope you enjoyed my project.
The next blog on this hop is Krista Hershberger's blog.
I'm sure she has something awesome to share with you!
