DT 216 - Hello Bicycle

Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 216!

The small graphic is shown below - please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for detailed information.

The wheel element in this challenge was a tough one for me...
The white background was embossed and I die cut a yellow arch and inked around the edges. The bicycle was die cut and assembled and I added flowers in the basket. The sentiment was added above the bicycle.

If you are wondering about how I met the requirements, here is the explanation:
3 layers in addition to the base - the bicycle has several layers plus the basket and flowers add additional layers.
2 shapes - the arch and the circle from the bicycle wheel are two shapes.
1 image - either the bicycle or the flowers could be the image.

Come and join us at Double Trouble and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have two weeks to link up your project.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson

  4. This is cute as can be!! I love how the bicycle is big and bold and is only halfway on the card in the arch highlight. This is a great card for summertime and you did great with it! :)

  5. This takes me back to my first two-wheeler! It was blue with a basket, and years later, because I was taller, it was replaced with a black English bike. Your card is so much fun, Alyson, and every little detail works together perfectly. Great texture and colors, too.
