Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 203!
The small graphic is below - please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for detailed information.
I created a background using circle masks and various shades of blue ink. All the die cut elements were cut from white cardstock and inked - very time consuming! I arranged the birds on a branch and placed the flowers and leaves around them. The sentiment was stamped in the top corner and I adhered the card front to a piece of blue cardstock. I added two tiny twine bows on each of the flowers.

Your card is so bright and cheerful, Alyson. The elements are beautifully colored and stand out against the Bokeh background. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteUsing the Bokeh technique to create your circles was an inspired way to create your background. Your birds are wonderful and the whole card works visually.
ReplyDeleteCreative way to use the circles for your background, and the birds look so good ink blended as an alternative to colored card stock, great card!
ReplyDeleteYour background is stunning!!! And, I love those birds. It's a great card, Alyson.
ReplyDeleteYou've done a lovely job inking all those white die cuts. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOMG, those birdies are so adorable and love layout and how you brought in the twine ribbons... Such a fun background for your birdies.
ReplyDeleteAlyson, I love the bright colors and the way you inked up the lovebirds is fantastic. I have a stamp set I bought months ago and haven't used yet so I thank you for the inspiration. There might be a CASE coming on!
