Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 200!
It's all about the doodles this week. The small graphic is below. Please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for detailed information.
I cannot draw. Period. I spent three days on some doodled cards and my frustration level was through the roof. Doodling is not something that I have ever done - not for fun, not as part of a challenge, never.
This card is probably the fifteenth card that I tried to make and I am still not happy with it. I watched countless videos about doodling before trying this. I finally chose to make random doodles on a strip of white cardstock and colour some of them in various shades of pink. That panel was adhered to a black mat and then to an embossed card front. The sentiment was added at the bottom.
Come and join us at Double Trouble and show us how you interpret this challenge.
You have two weeks to link up your project.
We can't wait to see what you create! I hope doodling is easier for you than it was for me!
Enjoy,
Alyson
Alyson, you are way too hard on yourself! Both of those cards are wonderful! I love the way you used the color in your doodling.
ReplyDeleteDoodling is not my thing either lol-but your looks brilliant with the different strips and just touches of pink colouring, love the pretty flowered one too.

Love both cards... not bad for someone who didn't think she could doodle
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! You did so great with the doodles! I think it's amazing that you persevered with all your doodle efforts and they really did turn out so cute. I didn't even give one effort to doodling for the challenge because i had doodle images. But this makes me want to sit and doodle a little! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I look at all the DT's hand doodling and think what a talented bunch. Don't get why you aren't happy with the results. Personally I think both are excellent.
ReplyDeleteI hear you! But dang, I love the flower doodles card, seriously. xoxo
