Welcome to Double Trouble Challenge 199!
The small graphic is below - please visit the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for detailed information.
I wanted the image inside the aperture to stand out so I chose a black and white background. The aperture was die cut from the card base (plus two other layers) and I die cut a black frame to go around the opening. The tulip image was stamped and coloured and placed on the inside of the card so it shows through on the front when the card is closed. After I thought I was finished, I realized I had not included two images so I stamped, coloured and fussy cut a pair of tulips and added them at the side. The sentiment was adhered across the opening so it lifts with the front of the card.

Alyson, I absolutely love this card!!! I love how the colored images stand out against the pretty black and white and the 2 tulips you put on the front are a perfect accent to your window. I really love the shape of the window too! Such pretty inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteThe pink florals looks so pretty against the black and white background. Nice sentiment and beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteUsing black and white for your papers really helped the tulip images to shine. Its a pretty and well designed card.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice of colors for popping! Your pink card and the in the previous post are both very pretty! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe opening has such a unique shape, just perfectly sized for the flower image, and I love the added flowers on the side and the sentiment the goes across the opening. Beautifully designed card!
ReplyDeleteSo, so pretty, Alyson. I love the florals and that you've placed them both inside and out.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Alyson, and you've used one of my favorite flowers. How very lovely.
