CD 625 - Wonderful Day

 Welcome to Colour Dare Challenge 625!

There is a new graphic for this challenge - please check the information shown on the image. 

I made two cards for this challenge. The colours on my printed graphic were somewhat off from what is actually shown. 

I used orange, red and teal blue for the first card. I die cut the floral image and stencilled it with all three colours. That was set on an inked background so the colours would show through the holes. I used a lighter touch with the ink so there would be a bit of an ombre effect. A white heat embossed sentiment was placed across the card and I added gems to the centres of the flowers. 

For the second card, I used all the colours from the graphic. The red is a little hard to discern as it photographed in more of a red-plum colour.

The background was die cut with a pierced leaf coverplate. The leaves were stamped in yellow, orange and red and the leaf outlines were stamped in brown. They were die cut along with some plum coloured branches. I stamped the sentiment using the same colours as for the leaves and arranged the elements above and below the sentiment piece. A few gold sequins were added around the leaves.
