CAS Thinking of You card

I am at that point again where the lady at my church who sends cards to those who deal with grief or other crisis situations needs more of them. I volunteered to create the cards for her because there really isn't anything more special than receiving a handmade card, right?

Emboss resist - something I don't do very often. I wanted to do it directly on the card so washi tape worked great to keep the ink from "traveling" outside the desired area. I have also learned to keep a container of wipes at my workspace so I can wipe my hands after using sponges because I have ruined far too many cards with fingerprints where they don't belong... Such is the life of a paper crafter!

Products used are all Close To My Heart

Paper: White Daisy Cardstock
Stamps: In the Background (ret.), Casual Expressions
Inks: White Daisy Pigment Ink, Peacock, Lagoon, Glacier
Accessories: Lagoon Ribbon (ret.), White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Sponges

Enjoy,
Alyson

Hey, what a noble duty! And it is easier to make generic handmade sympathy cards (and cards like that) before you actually need them. This is lovely.

What an elegant card and in what is probably my favorite color. Your card is perfect for any occasion but especially for this card ministry. Beautiful!
