Stitched Twine Card

This card was created for the Alphabet Soup Challenge - letter J.

J is for jute twine. I pierced the holes along the insides of two pieces of cardstock. Stitching the pieces was really hard - keeping them the same distance apart was quite a struggle. I doubled up the twine and once the stitching was finished, I adhered the two sides to a card base with foam tape. The sentiment was embossed and added across the twine section. I added a small bow and a few gems to finish off the card.

Enjoy,

Alyson

  2. Love the bold texture in your stitched twine card, and the doubled jute creates such a striking focal strip while the embossed sentiment, tiny bow, and carefully placed gems bring a refined balance that highlights the challenge theme beautifully.
