There are many varieties of zig zag fold cards - this one stands up without an additional backing piece and the layers of circles create a unique look. I found this card on Pinterest, made by Libby Fens.
The base for this is easy - it's a 12" piece of cardstock folded into three sections. I used deckled circles for the layering pieces. The poppy was die cut from both gold foil cardstock and white cardstock. The white pieces were inked and added back into the outline and then adhered to a vellum shadow. The circles were aligned and the poppy was placed on the front white circle. A sentiment was stamped in the bottom corner and I added some pink gems around the flower.
I intend to remake this card using larger circles so the borders between the circles is more defined.
Enjoy,
Alyson
