A fun card making blog
I participated in the Jingle and Joy Card Event by Scrapbooks and Cards Today. It was an online event that was held the last weekend in July.
There were three classes, each with three cards. One class had two bonus cards as well. All are posted below.
Which is your favourite?

This was the final class from the Holiday Magic event, taught by Carissa Wiley. She chose softer and no-traditional colours. The fireplace shaker is just so cute and the embedded wreath shaker is also so pretty!

These are the cards from the second class from the Holiday Magic event. The class was taught by Meghann Andrew. I love the soft colours and who doesn't love that gorgeous mitten stencil set?

I recently did an online Christmas card event with Scrapbook and Cards. They are my favourite company and I do most, if not all, of their card events. This was a one day event with three formal classes. There were some bonus cards and I was able to finish those as well. It gives me a headstart on my Christmas cards.
The first class was taught by Yana Smakula. I love her dark colour choices and the detail on each of these cards.

Scrapbook and Cards posts terrific sketches each month and I decided to use one of them as the basis for this card.
I die cut two hexagons and offset them on a piece of woodgrain paper. The flowers and leaves were die cut from coloured cardstock and inked for additional interest. They were arranged along the left side and bottom of the wreath. I added two hot foiled sentiments and a few dew drops to finish off the card.
Enjoy,
Alyson
