This card was created for a challenge that a friend of mine posts once a week.
The sketch is shown below.
I chose to use an oval instead of an arch shape. I die cut the oval from white cardstock and then embossed the rest of the white piece. The oval was ink blended and I stamped some greenery at the bottom and a girl on a swing. Everything was adhered to a black card base with foam tape. I added a sentiment and a small butterfly as per the sketch.
Enjoy,
Alyson

Beautiful card Alyson, love the silhouette image in the aperture and embossed background.

Such a sweet silhouette stamped scene! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe embossed panel paired with that softly blended oval creates such a striking focal point. The silhouette scene feels peaceful and perfectly framed, and the little butterfly adds just the right touch of movement. A beautiful interpretation of the sketch that feels both clean and full of story.
