Tuck and Reveal Card

I saw a card in this style on YouTube - had to create it myself!

I chose a black and white colour scheme. The middle panel tucks under the side panel - hence the name of the card (Tuck and Reveal). I added some black and white leaves and a sentiment on the front and a floral outline on the inside panel. There is a place on the back to write a message.

Enjoy.

Butterfly Twin Flip Screen Card

This is such a pretty card and it doesn't require any special dies to make it.

The finished size is 6x6.

I chose some old papers for which I had butterfly ephemera. I used gold holographic paper for the mats to bring out the gold in the papers. There is a piece of acetate running across the centre of the card that allows the images to pop out when the card is opened.

A belly band holds everything closed.

JOY Stitched Cards

I have been taking these last two stitched cards to crops time after time and I never get to them... the last crop I went to, I decided to finish them first!

Stitching the elements takes a lot of time. I die cut the JOY word from silver foil paper and once the stitching was finished, the fronts were adhered to embossed pink panels and white card bases. I added small gems to the centres of the tiny flowers.

Candy Cane Christmas

This card was from the 30 Minute Cardmaking Stash Dash.

The parameters were as follows: Card Style: crafter's choice, Colours: complementary, Embellishment: food, Technique: paper piecing and Occasion: crafter's choice.

I finished right on the 30 minute mark! I die cut two candy canes and pieced the red sections onto the white bases. The leaves and berries were also die cut and I cut a background from white card-stock and adhered that to light green cardstock, The candy canes, leaves and berries were arranged on the card front and adhered to a red card base. The sentiment was die cut from gold glitter paper and adhered at the base of the card.

Pressed Cosmos Card Set

I made two sets of eight cards each using my Betterpress system along with coordinating stencils. Each of these cards was pressed in black ink and stencilled. I trimmed them down to fit on a black mat and a green card base. Some silver gems were added to each along with a sentiment.

Frosty Hello Shaker Card

This is another card made with the Feeling Frosty set.

The circles were die cut from the card front and I embossed that piece with a cascading dot embossing folder. I inked a panel using turquoise and blue inks and placed it behind the circles with "snow" inside to make mini shaker sections. A sweet snowman was added at the bottom and the sentiment was placed across the centre circle.

Butterfly Slimline Card

This card is based on one I saw on Pinterest but there was no name attached to it so I am not are who originally made it.

This was considerably more difficult than I anticipated... I ended up making a slimline card as an A2 card didn't allow enough room for three butterflies to cross the open centre. I stamped a sentiment along the side in black ink. I chose brushed gold paper for the butterflies and I randomly marker coloured parts of them. The flowers and leaves were arranged coming out from the sentiment strips - that was tough as the sentiments needed to be straight so I couldn't put them on the butterflies until those were adhered to the card. The little flowers and leaves had to be arranged in such a way that the ends were covered by the sentiment pieces.

I splattered the two side panels with gold paint and added gold gems around the card.
