HQCOL - Sending Cozy Wishes

Welcome to Heart's Quest Celebration of Love and our January challenge!

The theme for this challenge is always related to love - birthday, engagement, wedding, anniversary or sympathy. The optional theme for January is warm winter wishes.

This is a COLD month in my end of the world - lots of snow and cold temperatures. It just seemed appropriate to create a winter card.

I chose a set of dies that I have had for ages to create the background. Each die cuts wider openings so the layers are designed to be stacked. I used white glitter paper for one of the layers. The polar bear image was embossed in dark blue and coloured. I die cut that piece plus a border and added it to the card with foam tape. The sentiment was angled, embossed in white and placed below the image. A few silver gems were added around the image.

Come and join us at HQCOL and show us how you interpret this challenge.

You have until January 31 to link up your project.

We can't wait to see what you create!

Enjoy,

Alyson
