Red Poinsettias with Brick Background

I am usually partial to non-traditional colours for Christmas but decided to go with a red poinsettia for this card. 

The background was created using a strip placing technique and then adhered to black cardstock. It looks kind of like a brick wall which is why I chose to use red for the poinsettias. The flowers were stamped and die cut and I added a silver foiled sentiment at the bottom. Some silver metallic thread and iridescent gems were placed around the card.
