Welcome to Try a Sketch on Tuesday Challenge 687!
This can be a difficult sketch to follow... I struggled to add the elements at the bottom. I flipped the sketch over so the larger circles were on the left side.
I have a set of dies and stencils that create this gorgeous mountain scene. Once the stencilling was complete, I added some texture paste and glitter paste to represent snow. The cottage was die cut and assembled and I also die cut the deer. Those images were placed at the bottom of the scene and I added more texture paste to the house. The sentiment was stamped in the top corner and the card front was adhered to a green mat and then a white card base.
Come and join us at TSOT and show us how you interpret this challenge.
You have two weeks to link up your project.
We can't wait to see what you create!
Enjoy,
Alyson

Love the beautiful mountain scene you created, love the little die-cut deer and textured snow.

The flipped sketch works so well for this scene. The layered stenciling creates such depth, and the shimmer from the texture and glitter paste brings the snow to life. The little cottage and deer are perfectly placed and add so much warmth to the winter landscape.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great interpretation of the sketch... beautiful winter scene using stenciling and the add of glitter.
