Purple Anemone Cards

These two cards were inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest.

I die cut the anemone and leaf pieces from white cardstock and inked them. One background was embossed with a woodgrain embossing folder and the other was lightly inked in yellow (I should have inked a larger section as the flower was larger than I anticipated) and a die cut background was placed on top. Both of those pieces were adhered to the card bases with craft foam. The flowers were arranged on the backgrounds and I stamped and added sentiments plus some iridescent gems to each.

Enjoy,

Alyson

  2. The inking on these anemones is gorgeous, and the contrast between the woodgrain texture and the soft yellow panel gives each card its own personality. The dimensional layering with the die cuts and craft foam adds such a polished finish, and the iridescent gems are the perfect subtle highlight.
